It has been too long since I have posted, I guess I should have made it clear that I use Vim 6.2 (although not the latest build), and I use Redhat 9.0. However, I was not aware that there were multiple ways to cut and paste. I thought it essentially worked the same in windows or linux, it was just nicer in linux.
